Future Land Use Map Updates: The County’s current Certified Farmland Preservation Plan expires in December 2025, so to ensure landowners can continue to reap the benefits of the Tax Credit Program, we are undergoing joint updates to the County’s Farmland Preservation Plan and Comprehensive Plans. The most up-to-date Map 8-3C:Future Land Use Map for your Town is located at the top of this post. The map primarily factors in recent map amendments the County has approved. Please remember that the County’s Future Land Use map also incorporates exterritorial plans of any surrounding cities and villages. An Open House will be scheduled on the same date as the County’s September 2nd Planning and Zoning Committee meeting. The Open House will begin at 1:00 pm for the proposed amendments and will run to the start of the Committee meeting. A second Open House will be scheduled in a similar fashion on the same date as the County’s December 2nd Planning and Zoning Committee meeting.
