Town Chairman Killed in Farm Accient: The Town of Newport is sadly announcing the loss of our Town Chairman, Matt Brunn in a farm accident on October 24, 2024.   Matt served the Town of Newport for 20 years, 10 years as a Board Supervisor and 10 years as Chairman.   His dedication and work for the township will never be forgotten.  His Obituary can be found at: https://www.pichafuneralhome.com/obituary/mathew-brunn .
